Well, I have some good news for you then..you can now own an NFT of your favorite luxury car maker! Yup, you heard that right…Mercedes is entering web3!
Mercedes-Benz NFTs are the latest drop in the automobile Web3 market! The new collection is titled ‘Maschine’.
It is created in collaboration with an artist called Harm van den Dorpel and Fingerprints DAO, which happens to be a global digital community!
The 1,000 NFTs will be available via auction on the Fingerprints DAO platform on the 7th of June, so mark your calendars already! Honestly I can’t wait!
Each artwork carries Mercedes Benz’s elegant design language and aims at increasing the presence of Mercedes in the Web3.0 world.
In fact, artist Harm van den Dorpel has used moving car wheels as the main inspiration for the visuals of the NFTs. Isn’t this interesting af?!
Now, anyone and everyone who always wanted to own a Mercedes can really own one but digitally ofc…this ain’t the first car maker to do so however.
Previously, Ford launched NFTs too but they didn’t really sell well like their cars😭😂😂
And ended up like a big flop show with not many interested in their digital collectibles!
Keeping this aside…..let’s focus on the bigger picture for now and that is — BIG COMPANIES ARE NOW ADOPTING NFTs AND UNDERSTANDING THE POTENTIAL NFTs HAVE!
That day is not far when we go to a car dealership and simply buy an NFT and get ownership of the car without much paperwork or hustle. Imagine how convenient!?!
